Tucaan Portraits

I recently photographed Tobias and Peter, the two entrepreneurs of Tucaan, the media bureau in Hillerød. It was actually just a test shoot, and I'm planning to have one or two more photo sessions with the guys soon.

 On a very related note, the two just opened up shop right in the middle of Hillerød, at Torvet 7, gården, 3400 Hillerød... Which is probably also the place where my future photo studio will be. Come say hi to the guys, they don't bite and are actually very nice. ;)

Riddim*Night vs. Aphromania

I was once again hired to shoot a Riddim*Night party at Søpavillonen; this time however, they had combined with Aphromania to have one great party, with both floors in use. Still, Africans know how to party! If you want to have a good night out, definitely consider going to this...

Osteria Il Gallo Nero Ristorante Firenze, Part II

... and then it was time for the food.

The highly professional chefs and staff at the restaurant provided me with everything I needed, so it was up to me to get the best out of it. We had picked up a nice orange tree to place in the background. I only used natural lighting - the only right thing to do when photographing food.

Cyclus II

One of the girls, Ditte Marie Ludvigsen, from my new class is an illustrator, and a pretty talented one at that... Her and her friend Anton had an exhibition at a Vesterbro gallery, Vess, a couple of months ago.

I took this photo and some others for using in a school project, but I find the drawings to be incredibly well made and thus decided to put it on my blog!

The cutest little owl!

I bet you've never seen this animal so up close before...

 We found it sitting on a bench in my girlfriend's parents' house, and because it looked like it was hurt, Susanna's mother took the little thing inside for a quick look and some nursery, although we put it back out there when we realized it wasn't really hurt at all. It still is a funny, furry little creature though.

New apartment!

Me and my sweet gal Susanna decided, after having been together for almost 2 years, to move in together!

So, after having searched for about a month or so, we found this lovely flat, very near Sydhavn Station, Copenhagen. It's a wonderful, spacy, new apartment, and not that expensive either. We're moving on June 30th, and we simply can not wait!

International Racing Festival 2012 @ Carlsberg

Because my friend Tobias gave me a free ticket last year for Copenhagen Classic Grand Prix last year, the minute I read about International Racing Festival I thought about him. So I called him, got him to come along to watch some cars going pretty fast around a small, purpose-built track.

Poster Exhibiton @ Arbejdermuseet

I started school again!

For a while, I gave up hunting for an internship as a photographer... So I thought to myself; what else do I like to do? And the answer was graphic design.

So as of March 2012, I study graphic design at Copenhagen Technical College at Frederiksberg. It's GREAT so far - good people, inspirational, and some of the teachers aren't half bad as well.

One of the first days there, we went to Arbejdermuseet to see a poster exhibition with political posters. Here's some of them.

Nordsjællands Modeshow

Tucaan hired me as photographer for Nordsjællands Modeshow, a fashion show in the small city Helsinge. It was a fun night full of nice clothes, haircuts, flowers, glasses etc. Oh, and a Kim Larsen impression! These are some of the best photos from the night.

Boutique Lene

My old buddy Tobias and a friend recently formed their own company, Tucaan, which aims to provide businesses with online marketing solutions. Among their first clients is Boutique Lene, a women's clothes store in Helsinge.

For their new website, they have to use photos of their store, so Tobias got me to go there and shoot. Here's a selection of what I did yesterday.

Ice Skating at Frederiksberg Runddel

When the weather is cold, windy and just generally a pain in the a**, you just wanna stay inside... Sometimes, however, it's good to get some fresh air. And what better way to do that than to go ice skating? That's what my girlfriend Susanna and I did the other day... Enjoy!

Oh, if you want to go ice skating as well, now is the time! Most of the rinks close in a few days, as far as I'm aware.
