Exam Project, Part V: Product

My exam product are of different (nasty, some might say) Danish ready meals. Again, it's in the everyday, boring, nasty theme. I was a bit tired of looking at beatiful pictures of delicious food, so I wanted to try something else! I'm pretty happy about the series myself and they ended up quite like I had hoped. Bon appetite!

Exam Project, Part IV: Architecture

With my architecture photos, I thought about locating a really ugly and/or boring building somewhere in Copenhagen. I ended up with Gamle KUA (Det Humanistiske Fakultet), just next to Islands Brygge st. It's definitely boring! Again, I did it a bit to provoke and to go against the stream of everyone taking beauty shots of beautiful things... I'll leave it up to you to decide if it's interesting or simply boring. :)

Exam Project, Part III: Custom 2

The other of the series that we could decide, I went around to pretty much all the public toilets all over Copenhagen and took photos of each and every single one! Just to create some diversity and try to come up with something most people haven't seen pictures of before.

I experimented a lot with the editing, but the end result became this, quite desaturated and scary look...

For one of the series which we could decide on our own, I decided on doing detail shots of different pizzerias, the same day as I shot the portraits. It wasn't my original plan, but that's how it all ended up being...

Exam Project, Part I: People

So, we started our first year core course exams a month ago and everyone graduated this Wednesday and Thursday. We had to present 25 photos, consisting of 5 portraits, 5 architecture, 5 product and 2x5 which we could decide on our own.

 My original plan for the People part was to photograph normal, everyday people in their homes... So my girlfriend and I went out knocking on doors, but no one would really let us in. Therefore, we instead decided to photograph young guys working in pizzerias. This is the end result...

A Walk in the Woods

The other day, I took a looong walk in the woods with my darling and her dad. These are just some random flicks from that day. :) I've tried to give them a very contrasty, vibrant look. Not sure if I'm really feeling it myself, hah. Anyway, here they are...

GAM3 Finals 2011 (08-27)

GAM3 hired me this year as a photographer for the GAM3 Finals, the biggest annual streetball event in Denmark. It was planned to be outside at Carlsbergbyen, but when the weather started to turn really bad, everything was moved inside to StreetMekka, just around the corner.
